Requirements
- 2 years of customer service skills
- A valid driver's license
- A clean MVR
- Ability to walk long distances
- Work in all weather conditions
- Overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Driving a company vehicle along work routes.
- Inspecting water meters to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Locating the customers' meters and taking accurate readings from them.
- Perform meter reading activities on an assigned route; record meter data into handheld computerized meter reading device and verify accuracy of readings; troubleshoot high/low.
- Record the meter reading accurately with the figures, customer account number, and location of the meter.
