About The Position

Responsibilities are to perform various duties in connection with the reading of electric and gas meters, including the use of electronic reading devices. High school diploma or equivalent, plus valid driver's license required for position. The individual will be assigned to the Cheshire Mobile Meter Reading department, driving the mobile AMR vehicle reading meters. The position will also require the individual to perform various clerical duties as assigned. Emergency work and planned overtime will be required. Hours are first shift, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. May be required to travel to other area work centers when needed/requested. The salary range for this position starts at Step 1 $31.70 and progresses in accordance with the union contract. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.
