About The Position

Requirements

• Associates Degree in electrical/electronic technology
• State Driver's License
• Successfully complete the Company's training and qualification program within 24 months of employment
• Proficiently use computers and applications related to this position
• Effectively communicate with other employees, customers, and the general public in a courteous manner

Responsibilities

• Read meters as required for field order and on schedule for cycle billing
• Install, remove, change, disconnect, and reconnect meters
• Test single-phase, network, and polyphase self-contained meters for proper operation and accuracy
• Program meters
• Perform Credit and Collections related orders including disconnect and reconnect for non-payment
• Investigate irregular usage and energy diversion
• Repair meters, meter sockets, and meter enclosures
• Order, receive, ship, store, and inventory meter and associated equipment
• Investigate self-contained service power quality problems, install event recorders, neutral testers, and produce reports
• Perform work from ladders and elevated platforms
