This person will work a four-day work week, handling morning and evening weather on the weekend newscasts and two days during the week. The candidate will also do some weather-producing work as well. In addition, candidates may also be required to report occasionally. You will be responsible for shooting, writing, voicing, and editing stories for television. Live reports will also be expected. The ideal candidate must be able to work odd hours to complete assigned stories and cover breaking news. Time management skills are key. You should also be skilled in social media and online news production. You must be able to carry 35 to 45 pounds of equipment. A valid driver's license as well as a safe driving record is necessary.
