About The Position

The Metals Lead plays a key role in supporting BrandFX manufacturing operations by coordinating and driving shop orders through each stage of the production process. Under the direction of supervisors and upper management, this position ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality standards and production deadlines. The Metals Lead is a hands-on role and requires the ability to operate machinery and assist the team as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Interpret and work from drawings, blueprints, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Accurately read a tape measure and verify material specifications.
Support production flow, ensuring orders move through the shop efficiently and on schedule.
Operate forklifts and other manufacturing equipment as required.
Assist in machine operation and step in to run metal-manufacturing machinery when needed.
Lift materials and components up to 50 lbs.
Collaborate effectively with team members and also work independently when required.
Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and management.
Maintain strong organizational skills to ensure processes run smoothly.
Demonstrate dependability, self-motivation, and a willingness to “go the extra mile.”
Receive and follow instructions from supervisors and upper management.
