Requirements

  • Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications to be considered.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)
  • A High School diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Welding & Plasma Cutting (desired)
  • Two (2) years general or specific experience in this field desired.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples for Cut & Etch: Plasma Cutting, Wet Saw, Polishing & Etching (Acid)
  • Perform Destructive Cut & Etch testing on production MIG welds.
  • Capture images and measure weld features using computerized software.
  • Perform Rockwell hardness testing as required. (infrequent)
  • Perform destructive & non-destructive testing on Resistance Spot welds and Resistance Projection nuts/studs.
  • Manage Discrepant Weld Reports including emailing and the generation/data entry/ and saving of reports in Excel.
  • Document, File and Maintain in-process inspection reports.
  • Assist others as assigned.
