About The Position

Nucor Steel Kingman is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Metallurgist. Principle duties include participating in safety, commercial excellence, and continuous improvement of the melting processes, as well as driving overall improvement of quality of the facility. The successful candidate will help with process and product development, training efforts, and utilizing statistical process control tools. The Quality team works on identifying quality trends, root cause, and corrective actions for our products. We are seeking a teammate who will work with the Melt Shop to establish clearly defined processes to meet our customer's expectations all while contributing to the division's goals for safety, quality, and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.

• Bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering.
• Steel industry experience.

Responsibilities
