About The Position

We always hold true to our motto, Quality Products, Exceptional Service. We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Roofing Estimator using the AppliCad Roof Wizard Software. The candidate will convert complex architectural drawings and site data into accurate 3D roof models, generating precise material and flashing lists to prepare high-quality customer estimates.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the commercial and steel building construction
• Ability to read structural construction drawings a plus
• Great analytical skills and attention to detail
• Competency in the use of Excel, Word, and other software applications
• Critical thinking skills and ability to perform self-directed work
• Strong math skills including trigonometry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A positive attitude with an understanding of the value of teamwork and outstanding customer service

Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling: Utilize AppliCad Roof Wizard to create detailed 3D roof models from PDF blueprints, DWG files, or aerial images.
• Takeoffs: Conduct precise material takeoffs for metal panels, accessories, and underlayment to reduce waste and ensure accuracy.
• Fabrication Modeling: Simulate the installation process in the software to generate accurate panel cutting lists and optimize material usage.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with sales teams, project managers, and clients to verify project details and clarify specifications.
