The Metal Hardware Assembler is responsible for operating the appropriate CNC, fabrication and power tool equipment while following all safety precautions as required. The right candidate will have a fun, confident and positive attitude while ensuring customers' orders are manufactured to world class specifications. A good sense of humor, resourceful mindset and passion for custom manufacturing is required. Requirements

Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
Mechanical inclination and willingness to dive in, get your hands dirty, and work
Familiarity with a variety of hand tools, electric drills, air tools and preventive maintenance
Experience in construction, fabrication and metal all a plus
Computer savvy with a basic understanding of computer programs
Able to be flexible with work schedule, occasional extra hours or weekend work may be required

Experience in construction, fabrication and metal all a plus

Responsibilities

Cut and assemble materials to specifications
Quality check each order to ensure standards are met
Package each order to completion and prepare for shipment
Use power tools and hand tools to cut and prepare raw materials for assembly
Use tape measures, squares, protractors, angle finders to accurately cut and drill holes in metal and wood
Cut, grind, drill, and lay out a wide variety of materials
Operate industrial forklift
Complete required documentation in a timely manner
Follow all safety standards and procedures
Keep the shop and work area clean and organized
Work with a sense of urgency to meet short deadlines without compromising quality
