About The Position
The Metal Handler is responsible for all metal finishing processes and ensuring that all required processes are completed to produce parts that meet quality and ISO standards. This role involves various essential functions including deburring, grinding, flattening, time-saving, blasting, and in-process cleaning of surgical cases and trays. The Metal Handler will inspect products to blueprint specifications and perform visual inspections for burrs. Additionally, the position requires the completion of necessary documentation and adherence to company policies and procedures. The Metal Handler will also ensure the general maintenance and upkeep of equipment, comply with ISO policies, and troubleshoot problems associated with equipment, tooling, and processes. Once competency is demonstrated, the employee may be required to train others in similar roles.
