About The Position

We are currently looking for 1st Shift Metal forming operators (8:00 AM - 4:00
PM) reporting to the shift supervisor. The metal forming machine operator will
be responsible for operating machines/sets of machines, which includes setup,
operation, inspection, and adjustments of machinery. Additional responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, performing simple or routine set-ups, following
processes, completing necessary paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized
work area.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education and experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in an environment with loud noises, smells, and/or extreme temperatures at times.
• Basic Math skills required.
• Must have the ability to lift to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, sit, and stand without assistance.
• Good attendance and strong work ethic required.
• Must have the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to follow directions and complete work in a safe and efficient manner while producing a quality product.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend production Standard Work and Job Function Analysis (JFA)
• Ensure production materials are available.
• Operate and observe machinery during production.
• Identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately.
