About The Position
Join our growing team in a sheet metal fabrication shop in North Salt Lake! The Metal Finisher (Grinder) prepares aerospace metal components by grinding, deburring, and finishing parts to meet quality and surface-finish specifications. This role supports production by ensuring parts are safe, clean, and ready for assembly or shipment. Location: North Salt Lake, UT Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am Pay Rate: $17-$20
Requirements
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
- Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Experience with metal finishing or grinding preferred
Responsibilities
- Grind, sand, and deburr metal parts using hand and power tools
- Remove sharp edges, weld spatter, and surface defects
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with material handling and general shop support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
