About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of metal finishing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Minimum of 3 years of TIG welding experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• Fabrication and assembly experience.
• Experience with machine shop tools (lathe, Bridgeport, saw, grinders, etc.).
• Pipefitting skills.
• MIG welding experience.
• Current students pursuing an Associate's in Welding Technologies may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Polish and regrain post-welding materials using hand and air tools.
• Use angle grinders and sanders to finish rough edges on newly stamped or formed stainless steel or aluminum.
• Read and interpret blueprints specific to each job for short-run production.
• Fabricate and assemble parts that have been machined or cut to size.
• Perform TIG welding in multiple positions, with a focus on horizontal welds.
• Oversee and support all TIG welding and final assembly processes.
• Use additional tools such as tube benders, drill presses, and saws as needed.
