About The Position

Our Opportunity GPJ is hiring a Metal Fabricator to join our growing team. This role is on-site, requiring you to report to our Las Vegas, NV office location a minimum of 5 days per week. Your Role As a skilled Metal Fabricator you are responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products according to engineering drawings and specifications. Your expertise in metalworking techniques, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will be instrumental in ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet customer requirements and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine metal fabrication requirements, utilizing various metalworking techniques such as cutting, bending, welding, and shaping to fabricate metal components and structures. You will operate machinery and equipment including saws, drills, shears, presses, mills and welding machines to perform fabrication tasks, while also measuring and inspecting fabricated parts to ensure they meet dimensional specifications and quality standards. Additionally, you will assemble fabricated metal parts into subassemblies or finished products, ensuring proper alignment and functionality, and collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and shop team members to troubleshoot and resolve any fabrication issues that may arise. Maintaining a clean, organized work area and adhering strictly to safety protocols and regulations will also be priorities in your role. Your Skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, welding, and shaping. Experience with various metalworking machinery and tools, including saws, drills, shears, presses, mills and welding equipment. Ability to accurately measure and inspect fabricated parts using precision measuring instruments. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Your Experience Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role, with at least 1 year of experience in metal fabrication. Additional certifications in welding or specific metalworking techniques are advantageous. Demonstrated experience in metal fabrication, demonstrating proficiency in a variety of fabrication techniques and processes.
