Position Overview : As part of the talented Operations team, you will set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • At least one-year of experience as a Metal Fabricator or manufacturing experience

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to follow all training procedures in place
  • Ability to perform basic math skills (adding, subtracting, fractions, and decimals)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
  • Proficiency with metal fabrication tools, including cold saw, tape measure, band saw, general power tools and drill presses
  • Good understanding of quality control principles
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination

Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
  • Measuring and marking out placement for components
  • Setting up metalwork machinery including cold saw, drill presses, band saw, notcher, belt sander, tape measure and/or calipers
  • Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work
  • Fabricating and constructing metal components
  • Grinding and finishing completed products
  • Performing quality checks on completed products
  • Conforming with state and company safety regulations
  • Completing daily logs
  • All other duties as assigned
