Candidate will work with various components and fabricate parts to fit properly as an assembly. These process typically include manufacturing of copper bus bar and plates, programing of equipment such as CNC punch and bending machines, manual bending, cutting drilling and tapping. Brazing and soldering of pipe fittings and mechanical assembly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical certifications or related training.
  • Able to see, have good perception, and distinguish between colors.
  • Able to stand, climb, and bend for 8-10 hours.
  • Have good strength and be able to lift up to 51 lbs.
  • Quick hand and arm movement, or the movement of both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Communicate information and ideas, both written and verbally so others will understand.
  • Have a valid driver's license and able to drive an automobile.
  • Able to travel on short notice by public transportation including (i.e.: aircrafts, trains, bus, cars) domestically and internationally.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete the Inductotherm Corp. hiring process requirements which includes a comprehensive assessment, drug testing, and a background check.
  • All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of the E-Verify process to confirm eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and working with fractions, strong geometry and trigonometry to calculate risers and runs.
  • Able to read measuring devices - rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, Vernier’s, and formulas.
  • Mechanical aptitude - able to use and operate power tools, i.e.: band saw, shear, hydraulic press, hydraulic bender, drill press, table disk sander, etc.
  • Able to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, schematics and specifications.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times.
  • Perform general housekeeping as required.
  • Regular in attendance and able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
  • Willing to attend classes/training to improve basic skills and non-essential functions.
  • Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Able to operate an overhead crane, drive a forklift and electric pallet truck.
  • Carpentry and Roofing work.
  • Industrial painting
