About The Position

This occupation requires the laying-out, setting-up, and operation of various types and sizes of drilling and sawing equipment in the cutting a fabrication of sheet metal and extruded parts. It involves the finish-forming and straightening of sheet metal parts after heat treat; the hand forming of sheet metal parts and surface finishing, polishing, descaling and grinding of parts and assemblies. It includes the use of various types of metal cutting saws, such as Do-All Saws, Band Saws, Power Hack Saws, Abrasive and Circular Cut-Off Saws for precision and rough cut saw operations. It involves the setup and opertion of various types and sizes of power shears to cut sheet metal stock. Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
