About The Position

Join the Team Bringing Meta’s Innovation to Life at GDC! We’re seeking friendly, organized, and high‑energy Event Support Staff to represent Meta at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. In this role, you’ll help create a seamless, memorable experience for attendees as Meta showcases its latest cutting‑edge technology. If you enjoy interacting with people, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and love being part of major industry events, this is a fantastic opportunity! Event dates are March 9th - March 13th. Full availability is required for all dates

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of in-person product demonstration experience
  • 1+ year customer-facing experience in experiential or retail sales environments required
  • Exemplary interpersonal communicational skills - written, verbal, and on-camera
  • Authentic, engaging, and energetic with a c ustomer-first mentality
  • Tech-savvy and passionate about technology
  • Attentive to deadlines, start times, and reporting requests
  • Ability to multi-task and remain agile and flexible as details and event needs change and evolve
  • Natural relationship builder: ability to build and foster business relationships independently at multiple levels
  • Ability to remain professional at all times while showing patience and tact, remaining calm under pressure, and practicing good judgment in analyzing information, strategic/critical thinking, and decision-making
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn and succeed
  • Regularly talk, sit, stand, walk and bend over, repetitive use of hands/arms, repetitive use of legs and grasp
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation

Responsibilities

  • Provide a best-in-class experience for event attendees navigating throughout our client’s immersive footprint by greeting and directing attendees, line management, handing out promotional items, answering questions, and scanning attendee badges
  • Assist in light set-up, staging, and maintaining the cleanliness of the event space
  • Other duties as assigned by management & client
