About The Position

As a part-time Meta Sales Specialist at Nebraska Furniture Mart, you’ll connect directly with customers to create engaging, informative shopping experiences centered around Meta’s innovative technology and wearables. In this customer-facing role, you’ll represent the Meta brand on the sales floor, build strong relationships with retail leadership and associates, deliver product training, and confidently recommend solutions that meet each shopper’s needs. You’ll drive sales by showcasing the value of Meta products while managing your responsibilities with independence and energy. The ideal candidate brings a passion for technology, strong communication skills, a natural sales mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. All product and technology training is provided, making this a great opportunity for someone excited to work weekends and grow their sales experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing is preferred.
  • The ability to engage, demonstrate, and ask for the sale is necessary.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Impeccable integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations are crucial.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Availability of working weekends and up to a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts is required.
  • Own a smartphone with an equivalent operating system of an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25.
  • Ability to stand, walk around, reach, pick up, bend, grab, up to 20lbs occasionally, with continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation (Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions).
  • Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits.

  • Keep Meta displays clean, organized, and visually appealing, ensuring the latest devices and promotions are showcased effectively.
  • Partner with retail sales associates and leaders, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Track customer interactions, feedback, and sales electronically.
  • Submit daily reports with ease using your mobile device.
  • Foster positive partner Field and Store relationships by adapting to local retail store environments, respecting established hierarchies, and adhering to all operational policies while representing 2020 companies.
