About The Position
BWXT is currently seeking a Met Lab Tech B Element Evaluation employees for its Lynchburg, VA location. The position involves preparing metallurgical samples and/or sample amounts of fuel and non-fuel bearing elements, fillers, and other materials for evaluation in accordance with detailed written procedures. The role also includes preparing specified surfaces for metallographic evaluation and preparing samples by layout, sawing, scribing, grinding, sectioning, mounting, polishing, anodizing and chemical etching.
