About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated Messaging Compliance Specialist to serve as our primary authority on Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging standards. In this role, you will bridge the gap between regulatory requirements, technical implementation, and customer success. You will ensure that our platform and our clients remain compliant with the ever-evolving landscape of the messaging ecosystem while helping to build the tools that make compliance seamless.

Requirements

  • Communication Excellence: You must be a "pro" communicator. Whether it’s a high-stakes video meeting, a detailed technical email, or a quick Slack update, you can convey complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience working with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and technical output.
  • Organizational Prowess: Ability to manage multiple projects, customer tickets, and development sprints without letting details slip through the cracks.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying potential compliance bottlenecks before they impact the customer.

Nice To Haves

  • In-depth knowledge of US-based Messaging Compliance (10DLC, Short Code, Toll-Free).
  • Familiarity with the CTIA guidelines and the broader messaging ecosystem.
  • Experience managing Vendor Relations with Campaign Service Providers (CSPs) or Direct Connect Aggregators (DCAs).

Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become the internal and external "source of truth" for A2P Messaging Compliance, staying ahead of industry shifts and regulatory updates.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary customer-facing resource for all compliance-related inquiries. You will guide clients through onboarding, vetting processes, and best-practice adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Support, and Legal) to ensure messaging strategies align with carrier requirements and industry standards.
  • Product Development & QA: Work directly with developers to define and implement new messaging features. You will be responsible for QA testing these features to ensure they meet both functional requirements and compliance benchmarks.
  • Technical Enablement: Use Claude Code to streamline workflows, analyze data, or assist in technical documentation and troubleshooting.
