Role Overview The Technician II will analyze and monitor MES (Manufacturing Execution System) systems and equipment across Hyundai (HMGMA).

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent
2+ years of IT experience.
Strong computer troubleshooting, hardware, and software support
Experience with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, Web Browsers, and taking phone calls
Experience with building computers, imaging computers or installing Windows
Must be able to think analytically
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to interact positively with internal and external customers.
Must be able to work shift rotation (mornings/afternoon/graveyard)

Nice To Haves

CompTIA A+ preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to problems with computer systems. This includes covering phone and radio calls from production and maintenance.
Complete periodic checklists regarding MES & HMGMA computer systems.
Promptly respond to and resolve issues and requests as they arise.
Work with other Analysts and other MES team members to resolve issues.
Escalate issues as per MES escalation standards
Work in both a control room and on the plant floor.
Work overtime as needed to support production as well as projects
Reconfigure and replace computers, scanners, and printers as they fail.
Attend some holidays and the summer shutdown period to perform preventative maintenance of computers and MES equipment throughout the plant.
Assist customers with installations and modifications regarding MES systems. This includes: computer installation, scanner installation and computer repair.
