About The Position

The role involves the design, implementation, and management of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) processes, particularly in the context of Electrode, Assembly, and Formation. The position requires overseeing production planning and operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, and monitoring production activities to align with established standards. Additionally, the role includes training team members on MES systems, troubleshooting issues, and managing MES-related concerns across multiple sites.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in MES system development or operation.
  • 3+ projects experience in MES System development.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, predominantly centered on MES systems.
  • Adeptness in designing and implementing MES systems in the EV battery, automobile, or any manufacturing industry.
  • Mastery in database management, specifically in Oracle/SQL Server environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to collaborate and contribute within a team setting.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ERP and Groupware solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of administrative best practices and process optimization.

Nice To Haves

  • IT development expertise in .NET, C#, JAVA, etc., with an emphasis on system development for semiconductor/battery manufacturing industries.
  • Korean bilingual is a plus.
  • Rich experience in interfacing with production/inspection equipment and adeptness in PLC/HSMS/TIB communications protocols.
  • Comprehensive understanding of administrative processes and their intricate integration points within an ERP.
  • An analytical and problem-solving mindset focused on enhancing administrative efficiency and ERP Integration.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, test and implement improvements or innovations pertaining to the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) processes and functions.
  • Oversee the detailed production planning and operations, leveraging the capabilities of the MES system.
  • Define and guide the establishment of efficient manufacturing system processes within process management, quality management, and equipment management.
  • Harness MES systems to track production performance, ensuring alignment with established standards and benchmarks.
  • Spearhead user training sessions on MES systems and offer consistent support to team members.
  • Act proactively to address manufacturing site issues, troubleshoot system anomalies, and strategize preventative measures.
  • Manage MES-related concerns efficiently across multiple sites, which may require business travel.
