The MES Engineer will work on the 2nd shift in Harrison Township, MI, with no supervisory responsibilities. The role involves creating reports and dashboards from production data, collaborating with Process Engineers, Production departments, IT, and Maintenance to evaluate MES requirements for production line improvements and modifications. The engineer will provide production support for various MES functions, including QAD interfaces, PLC interfaces, Electrical Test interfaces, and MES master data maintenance. Responsibilities also include developing, modifying, or debugging MES logic and related IT applications, diagnosing and resolving process and communication malfunctions, and authoring software validation activities. The engineer will support manufacturing metrics, configure system settings, perform system configuration changes, and train others on systems and processes. Additionally, the role requires researching and implementing cost-effective upgrades to equipment and manufacturing applications, modifying SQL queries, and supporting web applications.
