About The Position

The MES Business Analyst will be responsible for developing end-to-end digital operational process flow to effectively run Semiconductor R & D Lab. This role acts as a business analyst for R & D Lab Operations teams, primarily supporting the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The analyst will assess business requirements, work with BPA/End users to streamline these requirements, and configure the MES system to meet business needs. Additionally, the role involves documenting and maintaining the MES modeling process, collaborating with IT portfolio managers, project managers, and customers to co-develop a MES roadmap, and driving products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment. The analyst will work in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks. They will also define the self-service user experience, translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog, and lead the product functional design process. The role requires support for global business across different time zones and participation in QA checkpoints during delivery to ensure alignment with the original scope.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Functional Knowledge of an MES system.
  • Prior working experience in semiconductor industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least a year of product or project development experience.
  • Experience working on a MES solution and/or in the Semiconductor space.
  • Established background in launching software or services with engineering teams.
  • High degree of proficiency in prototyping and iterative development.
  • Experience in driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end digital operational process flow for Semiconductor R & D Lab.
  • Act as a business analyst for R & D Lab Operations teams, supporting MES.
  • Assess business requirements and streamline them to deliver business value.
  • Configure MES System to meet business needs.
  • Document and maintain MES Modelling process.
  • Collaborate with IT portfolio managers, PM & customers to co-develop a MES roadmap.
  • Work in an Agile environment to review business needs and refine priorities.
  • Define self-service user experience and support for customers.
  • Translate product roadmap features into product requirements including user stories.
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products.
  • Lead the product functional design process.
  • Define and write/review the Functional process document (FS).
  • Present the FS to Technical architect for design completion.
  • Review and approve technical design with Business.
  • Support functional architecture for multiple processes in a semiconductor lab.
  • Support Global business per their time zones.
  • Participate in QA checkpoints during delivery.
  • Review UAT test cases and work closely with business and execution team.
