About The Position

The Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) role is designed for individuals looking to develop their careers in wealth management by working with high-net-worth clients. Requirements

  • Currently holds SIE certification.
  • 4+ years of progressive professional and/or military experience.
  • Ability to obtain Series 7 & 66 licenses within allotted program time.
  • Self-starter who efficiently manages time and capacity.
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage goals and navigate complexity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory due diligence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the financial service industry or a sales environment.
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability in a demanding environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Proven ability to partner and promote lead generation.
  • Experience balancing investment management and new client development.
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
  • Obtained insurance licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored and personalized advice to clients through reviews and presentations.
  • Understand client solutions that are best suited for their financial needs, such as core Banking and Investment solutions.
  • Shadow Financial Advisor teams to build a network and promote portfolio growth.
  • Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize customer experience and operational excellence.
  • Participate in ongoing training to develop a book of business and meet financial targets.
  • Build relationships with internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Manage risk proactively in every aspect of business transactions.
