About The Position
Do you live an outdoor lifestyle? This is a chance to represent a premium outdoor apparel brand in local retail stores. Whether you have experience in the outdoor industry or are a passionate hiker or trail runner, this opportunity is for you. We’re looking for Brand Ambassadors / Retail Brand Representatives to support Merrell. Merrell exists to share the simple power of being outside. They believe the trail is for everyone. In this role, you’ll visit assigned retail stores to train associates, support merchandising, and represent the brand. Store Visits: 1 visit per month per store (about 1 hour per visit). This area will have an extended territory requiring 1 visit every other month to both Spokane, Wa and Beaverton, Or. Additional compensation will be provided.
Requirements
- Passion for, trail running, hiking and outdoor sports
- Experience in retail, sales, brand ambassador, or merchandising roles preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable using mobile apps and technology
- Smartphone required (iOS 17+ or Android 13+)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned territory
Nice To Haves
- Experience in retail, sales, brand ambassador, or merchandising roles preferred
Responsibilities
- Educate retail associates on Merrell footwear and clothing
- Support retail merchandising and product displays
- Capture store photos and complete reports using the ThirdChannel app
- Conduct light inventory checks and competitive insights
