About The Position

As the HCA Physician Mergers & Acquisitions Senior Analyst, you will support the growth and expansion of business development for physician practice partnerships and acquisitions. This position supports practice acquisitions, due diligence, practice analysis and valuation, and strategic planning for network expansion and growth, divestitures, physician mergers, employment and recruiting contracting process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of similar type work is required.
  • Strong financial background is preferred.
  • Knowledge in Fair Market Valuation Theory is preferred.
  • CPA is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Degree in Health or Business Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains measurement of department goals and objectives, and implements policies and procedure for department operation.
  • Prepares and maintains department reports and engagement tracking database.
  • Prepare periodic reports for top management, as required.
  • Determining and devising data survey collection, research techniques, data interpretation, and analytical methodology to use for analysis purposes.
  • Utilizing statistical, economic, and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports.
  • Evaluating operational techniques, budgets, programs, and various types of valuations (business, compensation, machinery and equipment, etc.).
  • Interpreting data concerning financial trends and economic and business forecasts.
  • Preparing documents for compliance with regulations.
  • Monitoring and reporting historical trends.
  • Creating and managing databases.
  • Assists in the development of documentation methods to be used in the engagement process.
  • Maintains documentation throughout the engagement process.
  • Communicates with and reports to client(s) and senior management about provider/practice engagement process on a regular basis.
  • Communicates with management and hospital services to determine items requiring coordination and resolution by operations, legal counsel and valuation consultants.
  • Coordinates the receipt, processing and completion of all items required for the engagement process, as defined in department documents.
  • Monitors compliance to the guidelines and affiliation agreements as they relate to physician practice/hospital partnerships.
