About the position
The Merger and Acquisition Senior Analyst role at Robert Half involves engaging in all phases of the M&A process, focusing on identifying potential acquisition targets, managing the M&A deal pipeline, and developing strong business cases for acquisitions. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and regional finance teams to inform strategic decision-making and ensure successful integration post-merger.
Responsibilities
- Undertake thorough research to identify potential acquisition targets and assess their strategic fit within the sector.
- Ensure meticulous management and reporting on the M&A deal pipeline to align with the Investment Committee.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to build financial models and perform valuations, thereby informing strategic decision-making.
- Engage with external partners to guarantee timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in due diligence processes, including the analysis of financial, operational, and legal documents to assess risk.
- Craft compelling acquisition business cases for senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with internal teams to support negotiations, synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
- Coordinate with Post-Merger Integration teams to ensure a seamless transition during the pre-integration planning stage.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role
- Proven expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Solid experience in Due Diligence processes
- Prior experience in Investment Banking
- Prior experience in Private Equity
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field is a must
- Strong Financial modelling experience
