You will develop and deliver software product(s) and APIs to help differentiate Pure from our competitors.

  • Understand and implement software development/engineering lifecycle concepts to drive features from conception to delivery based on product roadmap.
  • Software analysis, code analysis, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
  • Develop REST APIs, work on integrations with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Okta and partners platforms.
  • Take pride in software quality through rigorous functional testing and writing automated unit tests.
  • Maintain effective client relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risks.
  • Post-delivery - assists client teams in supporting the live application and performing handoff, writing runbooks for operational tasks, creating metrics dashboard, knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success.
  • At least 5 years of professional, hands-on software development experience with proficiency in microservices in the AWS environment.
  • RESTful API design and development experience in Javascript/Typescript, Java on Cloud Platforms. Experiences with building backend services on Node.js.
  • Web UI development experience using React.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, Docker, CloudFront, AWS Lambda, AWS Simple Queue Service, AWS Identity and Access Management, AWS Elastic Container Registry, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service, AWS RDS, AWS API Gateway, Rancher Platform for EKS.
  • Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and DynamoDB.
  • Familiarity with object relational frameworks such as Hibernate and Sequelize.
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies of EC2 instances, EBS volumes, Kubernetes, Kafka, Dynamodb, EKS, Kibana and Grafana Dashboard, Cloudwatch events and logs.
  • Automated test driven development with unit and integration tests. Familiarity with JUnit and Jest frameworks.
  • Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience with CI/CD including Argos and Spinnaker is a plus.
