About The Position

As part of the talented Quality team, you will be engaged in a variety of functions that include anything from daily assignments up to annual obligations. The position is mostly autonomous where you will decide the priorities to accomplish the dynamic and various tasks. Teamwork skills are a must to gain cooperation amongst the various teams within the plant, the campus, and the external customers. The Quality team is a centralized organization for the campus; however, team members are assigned to a primary plant. In this case, you will be assigned to Plant 17, our Die Cast and Lost Foam casting facility. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality or Manufacturing
• Self driven
• Interactive skills working with operators, technicians, supervisors, and engineers
• Blueprint / model interpretation
• Hands on approach

Nice To Haves

• 5 years of manufacturing experience
• 2 years of quality-related experience
• ISO9001 background / experience
• Die Casting, Lost Foam Casting experience
• Problem solving skills (Red X, Six Sigma, Lean)

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-functional walk throughs
• Lead ISO9001 activities to maintain 3rd party certification
• Drive completion of PFD, PCP, PFMEA, and PPAP submissions
• Interface with internal / external customers to improve current processes
• Plan and adjust work priorities to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals / metrics
