The position involves providing quality customer service and working towards the generation, promotion, and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Amarillo National Bank. The role requires maintaining a positive attitude and providing team support while assisting the Merchant Coordinator with current and potential credit card customers. Responsibilities include ensuring merchant applications are processed completely and in a timely manner, troubleshooting merchant terminal problems, and handling customer service both over the phone and in person. The position also involves maintaining merchant files, chargebacks, and all merchant processing, as well as having a thorough knowledge of all areas of Credit Cards and Electronic Banking. Additionally, the candidate will assist the Merchant Coordinator in processing Personal and Corporate Credit Card applications and may need to service the customer base after regular bank hours on occasion.
