As a Product Advisor II within PNC's Merchant Solutions organization, you will be based anywhere within PNC's footprint. As a Product Advisor II, within our Merchant Solutions team, you will be the single point of contact for our Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) channel regarding: Sales Support on technical integrations with 3rd party APIs, Presales solutioning of 3rd party integration requests, Presales questions on 3rd party C&IB-specific payments partners, Ongoing management of the sales and implementations pipelines of the 3rd party C&IB partners, Escalation point for the 3rd party C&IB partners, Assisting Sales Enablement with the ongoing creation and management of training and knowledge materials, Analyzing market trends and advising on the future strategic partnership roadmap. We are seeking candidates with strong technical expertise and a solid background in Merchant Services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with payment gateways, coupled with proven technical skills to support and advise on complex solutions within the Merchant Solutions space. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Represents one or multiple products as part of the sales process with the objective of closing new business opportunities.
  • Defines solution options in the sales process based on knowledge of products, platform integrations, and business requirements.
  • Leads internal or external discussions related to the application of one or multiple products to help close deals.
  • Leads direct interaction with clients as part of the sales process and represents PNC in bank-sponsored industry events, as needed.
  • Assesses client's current business situation and related requirements through data gathering, which includes interviews and research.
  • Uses knowledge of PNC capabilities and interface to consult with the client/prospect to assess business opportunities and helps to develop tailored solutions that are compatible with client systems and technology environments.
  • Provides the customer perspective in the design, development and management of new or existing product enhancements.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors and industry trends in order to identify new opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains product marketing and proposal material and provides educational sessions to Sales in conjunction with Product Management.
