About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Merchant Services Representative within our Fuelman division. This position falls under our North American Fuel line of business and is located in Peachtree Corners, GA. In this role, you will be the primary contact for both new and existing merchants. You will interact with merchants through phone, email, and fax, addressing their inquiries and providing solutions. Your role involves researching transactions, processing payments, managing voice authorizations, negotiating terms, and performing other essential tasks to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. You will report directly to Sr. Manager, Merchant Services and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a high call volume environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and general math skills.
• Effective and comfortable verbal communication skills for interacting with merchants over the phone.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in the fuel and credit card industry.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound and outbound calls (80+ daily) in a professional manner
• Utilizing multiple Corpay applications to assist merchants efficiently and promptly
• Demonstrating effective oral and written communication skills with merchants, colleagues, and management
• Transferring calls to the appropriate departments or staff members as needed
• Providing merchants with accurate and timely account information in a fast-paced environment
• Negotiating settlement terms with merchants
• Collaborating with team members and displaying strong interpersonal skills
• Multi-tasking by listening, inputting data, probing for information, providing solutions, and navigating various screens while applying customer satisfaction techniques
