SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES The Merchant Services Representative I will be responsible for representing South State Bank Merchant Services in the development of new accounts and the expansion of existing accounts at South State Bank. With a focus on one of South State Bank’s established geographic regions, she/he will directly interact with business owners to review their card payment acceptance needs and to align South State Bank Merchant Services solutions to meet those needs. She/he will partner with Branch Managers, Commercial Bankers, and Treasury Management Sales Officers as necessary to develop sales leads from existing bank customers and to identify opportunities for new prospects. The Merchant Services Representative I will provide professional, consultative sales of Merchant Services solutions and will significantly influence client decisions in selecting solutions that help businesses succeed in the collection of card payments.
