About The Position
The Merchant Portfolio Officer (MPO) is responsible for strategic client management, retention, renewals and rebids. This role involves deepening existing merchant relationships to drive client satisfaction and revenue expansion through cross sales. The MPO will identify and advise Merchant Services clients on program/platform optimization and help clients manage their total cost of payment acceptance. Additionally, the MPO serves as a potential escalation point for clients in their assigned portfolio and is responsible for identifying the appropriate route of resolution.
