About The Position

At U.S. Bank, we are committed to helping our customers and businesses make better financial decisions. As a Merchant Payment Solutions Market Manager, you will play a crucial role in business development and sales within the Small Business and Branch Banking segment, specifically targeting companies with revenues of less than $2.5 million. This position is designed for an individual contributor who will be responsible for developing a pipeline of opportunities through self-sourced prospecting and collaboration with Business Banking Specialists and Branch colleagues. Your primary focus will be on the small business environment, where you will execute merchant sales strategies and successful sales campaigns to drive growth and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders and banking partners. This role is primarily remote, but it requires local travel of 25-50% to meet with clients and banking partners. You will be expected to provide activity reporting and progress updates to leadership, ensuring that you are on track to meet your objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You will also need to be proficient in using Salesforce to manage opportunities and have a background in Merchant Services selling, as well as experience with Point of Sale Software and Systems.
