About The Position

Job Purpose : Responsible for the technical configuration, testing, and deployment of payment processing equipment and software, ensuring seamless implementation for merchant clients. The role typically involves a blend of technical support, quality assurance, inventory management, and client interaction. Essential Functions : Establishes file builds, gateways, and front ends to support all terminal, POS, and internet solutions. 35% Downloads, sets up, and tests equipment before shipping to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly. 30% Assist in support of equipment operating requirements for Sales and Customer Service by assisting merchant representatives with difficult questions and special projects. 10% Maintains accurate records of equipment shipped and received on Salesforce and Pulse. Assists in performing physical inventory of equipment. 10% Send equipment in for repair and ensure all equipment is shipped back to us from the repair facility. 5% Physical installations of merchant solutions at the merchant location when sales rep is out or needs assistance. 5% Disposes of terminals that are out of date or beyond repair in a secure manner, including deleting file from terminal in special electronic recycling bin. 5% Other duties include coordinating with other internal teams for additional services, such as merchant office supply needs and Clover resets. 5%

Requirements

  • High School diploma required. College degree preferred.
  • Industry experience preferred.
  • Effectively communicate and present information to managers, team members, and, occasionally, merchants.
  • Ability to learn various computer systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Must be able to interpret data, solve problems, and complete work with little supervision.
  • Must be flexible and can work with a variety of tasks and employees.
  • Sitting and standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Frequent use of fingers and hands to manipulate computer, telephone, office equipment and terminals.
  • Some heavy lifting – up to 80 lbs., with or without accommodations.
