As a Merchandising Support Specialist, you will be supporting the purchasing department on store and customer support. Work with Store Operations and Purchasing on outstanding purchase orders that are causing errors. Execute entering of special orders generated by Store Operations. Troubleshoot purchase orders that fail to be transmitted between suppliers, stores, and distribution centers. Assist Store Operations with customer requests. Assist Store Operations with request of returns on overstocked products. Assist Store Operations with items not scanning correctly. Identify the issue and correct to ensure stores can continue to work efficiently. Manage the Merchandising Help Desk Ticketing system to ensure stores/customers are taken care of in a timely manner. Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
