About The Position

Position Summary: Leads, trains, and supports the activities and operations of the Off-Premise Wine and Spirits Merchandisers to drive volume and profit growth in accounts and provide support to Sales Consultants and District Managers. Job Description: Job Responsibilities: Coordination of daily workload and bookings (align with Router). Communicate with Sales Manager and District Managers on daily bookings, staffing shortfalls, special projects, additional needs, etc. Meet with key customers for review purposes. Prepare and present Merchandiser standards and value to key customers. Develop and maintain consistent merchandising standards. Conduct field sets for merchandising team training. Manage/maintain information for Merchandiser Comp Pool, Merchandiser GSM, incentives, etc. POS (large) delivery and set up for thematic displays and key account planner activity. Lead the activities and operations of merchandisers. Training (new Merchandisers and on-going development of existing Merchandisers). Conduct weekly work-withs (ride-along) with Merchandising staff. Actively recruit for merchandising workforce. Administer duties to include, but not limited to, verify weekly time cards, review, confirm, and approve team time off, conduct Merchandising team meetings, attend Division Sales meetings, conduct employee evaluations/reviews. Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in merchandising and Off-Premise sales support role
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
