About The Position

The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for maintaining merchandising standards within a designated geographic area, enhancing supply chain efficiencies, and leading a team of front-line employees to effectively merchandise a diverse portfolio of products to key retail accounts. This role involves collaboration with sales and delivery staff to improve processes, drive productivity, and ensure high levels of customer service satisfaction in retail accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of related experience with 0 to 1+ years of supervisory experience, or
• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 6+ years of related experience with 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Ability to lift products from 25 to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Reliable automobile transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.

Responsibilities

• Maintain merchandising standards within a designated geographic area.
• Increase total supply chain efficiencies for suppliers.
• Lead a team of front-line employees to merchandise products to key retail accounts.
• Collaborate with sales and delivery staff to improve processes and drive productivity.
• Utilize lean management principles to train merchandisers on correct merchandising techniques and waste elimination.
• Review and analyze daily route plans and work assignments for proper workload distribution among Merchandisers.
• Utilize a software system for tracking, supporting, and re-routing Merchandiser services; prioritize assignments to meet sales, delivery, and customer demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
