About The Position

As a Merchandising Service Associate – Plant Service Lead, you will focus on Live Plants while ensuring a clean, safe, and stocked environment for customers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the execution of all assigned Live Nursery merchandising resets, service responsibilities, and maintenance activities. You will work closely with the Merchandising Service Manager and store leaders to set priorities for the MST Live Nursery team and identify service needs. Additionally, you will maintain a safe work environment by conducting daily safety reviews and monitoring for potential security risks.

Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of Live nursery experience or General Merchandising experience.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Less than 1 year of Lowe’s sales floor experience.
  • 6 Months experience performing product merchandising tasks.
  • Less than 1 year of experience operating power equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SMART customer service through the execution of Lowe's customer service policies.
  • Build relationships with vendors and ensure merchandise resets are completed according to specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager to communicate project priorities and needs.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and assist in locating and demonstrating merchandise.
  • Empty plant racks onto plant tables merchandising by planogram, price, and color block.
  • Identify damaged or missing signage and order replacements.
  • Update and validate wayfinding and product location signage.
  • Assist with culling and pricing dead and distressed plants.
  • Maintain communication with MSM and red vest associates.
  • Adjust fixtures, rotate stock, and support materials using power equipment.
  • Review and enter completion details for all assigned service and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all displays are safe and in working order.
  • Remove trash and manage waste materials.
  • Detect signs of shoplifting and communicate them to management.
  • Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties.
  • Operate store equipment as needed.
