About The Position

As an Merchandising Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assortment planning, competitive analysis, pricing, and general website management. You'll research competitor pricing and products to help build assortments, while learning internal tools to make real-time website updates including pricing changes, product merchandising, and inventory coordination. It's a mix of research and technical execution that gives you exposure to both the strategic and operational sides of digital retail. Our internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week, typically between 8 AM-5 PM. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the workday. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field, with an expected graduation conferral date between 2026 -2027.
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the course of a 10 to 12-week summer internship between May through September 2026.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrates initiative, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with a variety of research and analysis:
  • Learn about competitive analysis. Help to research and gather data as we build assortments
  • Competitive Analysis: Research pricing, product & website functionality across competitor websites
  • Product Copy Audit: Help ensure the correct product attributes are listed in product detail pages
  • Assist with copy updates
  • Assist with inventory management: Help research products in upcoming ads to ensure inventory is valid and ready for campaign launches
  • Cross reference products on vendor sites
  • Product Development: Research new products and help build assortments for upcoming launches
  • Assist with product selection and recommendations for new product assortments
  • Assist with website and product management:
  • Learn our internal tools and help with website updates.
  • Learn how to assist with product and merchandising updates on our websites.
  • Product color changes: Learn how we merchandise and make live updates to product on our website.
  • Pricing Updates: Learn our pricing tool and assist with updates.
  • Filter updates & research:
  • Learn about filters and how to use our filter tagging tools.
  • Assist with website audits and updates.
  • Assist with sample orders and print tests.
