The Merchandising Intern, LOFT, will assist the merchandising team with the development and execution of departmental seasonal strategies, maintenance of assortment sheets and compiling of reports. The intern will support the team with the purchase order process, preparation for key PLC meetings and maintenance of samples. The intern will develop a clear understanding of the customer and the competition and assists through the entire product life cycle process. Internship Qualifications An eye for trend and passion for the fashion / retail industry Experience working in Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookups) Exposure to weekly selling reports and costing Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task Program Details The KnitWell Group Summer Internship Program welcomes the class es of 202 6 and 202 7 college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor, Haven Well Within, LOFT, Talbots) and Corporate Shared Services to kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to wor k hands-on with their department for 10-weeks and receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project . The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr. This internship position will be based out of our Ann Taylor & LOFT office location in New York, NY . KnitWell Group does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations . Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housing in a commutable distance of the office location . Requirements
