About The Position

The RVQ Internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience within Retail Vendor Questions while working side by side with professionals from all levels in our Waltham, MA office. In this role you will work with the RVQ team to support the intake and process of service tickets submitted by Retail Operations, utilizing our Global Works platform. You will collaborate with Retail Operations and Business Partner teams to provide communications, resolution, and reporting back to the stores in which we service. Our goal is to improve the performance of vendor service in the retail space in our locations, positively impact revenue, and achieve improved bottom line profitability. This will be achieved by working up to 2 days a week remotely and the rest of the time in the office. At Global Partners, business starts with people. YOUR ROLE, YOUR IMPACT Assist the RVQ team in supporting the intake and process of service tickets submitted by Retail Operations, utilizing our Global Works platform. Maintain set expectations of ticket resolution and backlog clean up. Post Daily Communications in GDSO Sharepoint, for future Operations reference as needed. Attending meetings with Category Managers and Vendors, alerting to recently identified trends or learning about new initiatives that could impact ticket fluctuations. Ad-hoc communication and reporting as required

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Data Science
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, V-lookups, and Pivot Tables are some skills you will use during your internship.
  • Ability to prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships.
  • Self-Starter that takes the initiative to ask questions.
  • Ability to apply knowledge learned in classroom to work.

Responsibilities
