We are seeking a Merchandising and Equipment Specialist who thrives in hands-on environments and takes pride in showcasing and demonstrating STIHL’s full line of products. You will play a key role in supporting the marketing of STIHL products by merchandising STIHL Concept Stores, conducting product demonstrations, and leading training sessions with our dealers. This candidate must live in or around Manchester, NH; or be open to relocation to this area.

Requirements

• Vocational/Technical school preferred
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Experience with OPE, preferably STIHL, is required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Retail merchandising experience
• 50%-75% travel required

Responsibilities

• Partners with Territory Managers, dealers and suppliers to manage STIHL Concept Stores.
• Coordinates installation of STIHL Concept Stores and additions to existing stores and develops new merchandising strategies through personal site visits and virtual visits.
• Assists in product training and product demonstration as necessary.
• Addresses concerns and issues regarding STIHL merchandise and fixtures.
• Repairs and maintains existing STIHL Concept Stores.
• Assembles, installs and merchandises other STIHL merchandising fixtures.
• Orders and manages materials needed to complete all scheduled installations.
• Receives and warehouses STIHL Concept Store fixtures as well as other STIHL merchandising fixtures.
• Organizes warehouse space assigned to STIHL Concept Store fixtures, as well as other STIHL merchandising fixtures.
• Pulls and loads or ships any STIHL Concept Store or other merchandising fixture orders.
• Calls on dealers in designated markets to assess inventory needs and fixture needs.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
