We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and creative Merchandising Assistant to support our merchandising team in developing seasonal line sheets and executing merchandising strategies. This role involves assisting in product selection, sku/inventory management, and creating visually compelling line sheets to showcase our apparel, footwear and accessory collections. The Merchandising Assistant will work with a dynamic US team and international partners to contribute to the success of our design-forward golf & lifestyle brand.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office (Excel) is essential; familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications is a plus.
  • Strong ability to analyze market trends and sales data to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen eye for design and aesthetics, with a passion for fashion and staying updated on industry trends.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years’ experience in apparel merchandising, design, or a related role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Seasonal Line Sheet Development: Utilize Adobe Illustrator to design and update seasonal line sheets, ensuring accurate representation of product assortments, including style names, colors, fabrics, deliveries, and pricing.
  • Product Data Management: Assist in compiling product information, including specifications, images, and descriptions, to maintain accurate and up-to-date records for line sheets and internal databases.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, merchandisers, and marketing teams to gather necessary product information and ensure alignment in visual presentations.
  • Trend Analysis: Assist in market research to identify current fashion trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences to inform product selection and merchandising strategies.
  • Visual Merchandising Support: Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure that line sheets accurately reflect DTC marketing initiatives, in-store displays and online presentations.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the merchandising department, including organizing meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
