About The Position

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandising Assistant to join our Merchandising team. This individual will work with Buyers and Assistant Buyers along with internal and external partners to execute the merchandising objectives of the company. This role contributes to the team ability to achieve its financial goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Fashion Merchandising or similar preferred
• One year of administration and data entry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical abilities
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Consistent demonstration of professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity
• Motivated and able to work well independently, as well as an effective member of a team
• Ability to multi-task and provide timely follow up
• Ability to build solid relationships with teammates and business unit leaders
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of the merchandise through consistent communication and follow up with the vendor, distribution centers, and the merchandising and allocation team
• Complete order entry
• Manage promo and pricing forms
• Manage purchase order process on a weekly basis
• Sample management
• Assist with the preparation of purchase orders
• Communicate issues to product development and design
• Support the merchandising end-to-end process
• Participates in executing the pricing strategy
• Additional duties as assigned
