The Merchandising Assistant Store Manager at Lowe's is responsible for delivering quality customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. This role involves anticipating customer flow and work demand, planning for sales spikes, and ensuring proper coverage and in-stock positions. The Assistant Store Manager leads a team of associates to provide exceptional service, achieve sales and margin goals, drive operational efficiencies, and maximize customer satisfaction with the in-store experience. At times, the Merchandising Assistant Store Manager provides full leadership over the store. They collaborate with peers on the store leadership team, District Manager, and Area support staff to assess customer needs and develop strategies for service, sales, and operational objectives. This individual may also rotate through Specialty and Operations assignments for cross-training and development. Occasional travel for meetings, trainings, or supporting neighboring stores may be required.
