About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Stock Hispanic Brands products at customers’ locations in assigned locations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, including but not limited to rotation of products; ensure pricing matches current promotions and current marketing and promotional materials are displayed. Protect and gain merchandise shelf space for Bar-S products by stocking temporary bunkers and spaces for scheduled promotions; Optimize brand presence in designated areas. Provide excellent customer service; assess the needs of the customer to best recommend products. Maintain excellent working relationship with customers. Create weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Personal vehicle which meets company standards for licensing and insurance
  • Food handler’s permit
  • Driver’s License which meets company requirements
  • MVR which meets Sigma driving standards with review by Talent & Culture
  • Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Fully fluent in Spanish
  • Proven ability to motivate self and others
  • The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently
  • Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34˚ F for prolonged periods of time.
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings (until approximately 8:00 pm).
  • Able to travel up to 90% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time.
  • Able to stand for a full shift of 8 - 10 hours
  • Can regularly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck.
  • Can repeatedly twist, turn, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull to move 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 1 year of sales experience
  • Fully fluent in English & Spanish
  • Food product and or consumer packaged goods sales experience
